Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother as was Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she learned the flute piano and harpsichord for three years. She survived on a student stipend and did part-time jobs to supplement her budget. When she was at the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill in comparison to her fellow students and was contemplating a different path she might follow.
