Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother as was Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she learned the flute piano and harpsichord for three years. She survived on a student stipend and did part-time jobs to supplement her budget. When she was at the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill in comparison to her fellow students and was contemplating a different path she might follow. Lennox was initially musician within the band Dragons Playground. The group didn't get to compete in the competition for talent New Faces on I.T.V. She was the lead singer for The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. It was during this time that she came across Dave Stewart with whom she will form the pop duo Eurythmics. Following that Lennox began to work on her solo first album Diva and it was released in the year 1992. It was a massive success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album came out in the month of October 2014. This C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera includes four keyboard improvised tracks. The E.P. This album is a companion piece of her "Now I let it go... artwork that was exhibited at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. It's also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox, born on December 25, 1954 in Scotland, is a charitable philanthropist and an activist in the political arena. She sings. After minor success as a member of the group known as The Tourists in the late 1970s, she and her fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to become internationally renowned as the duo known as Eurythmics in the 1980s. Medusa is the album she recorded as her first studio album in 1995. It features cover versions of such songs as No MoreI I Love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale.
