Arike Ogunbowale

Arike was an American basketball player. She is a member of the Dallas Wings, a team within the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a college basketball player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, before being drafted by the Wings with the fifth overall selection of the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was born on the 2nd March, 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26 years old) and Dare Ogunbowale (19 years) are her two older brothers. Hers was the youngest of children in her family and her parents spoilt her the best. Gregory was her father. He was a member of the Nigerian Army quite a while. Ogunbowale has a very active family. Her mother Yolanda played softball for DePaul and her brother Dare plays football. Her cousin Endia Ollie is also a Volleyball player at Tennessee State. Ogunbowale is in the honor roll at school for three years in a row. High school has earned her acclaim as well as the attention of her peers. Arike graduated from high school training at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School which is located in her hometown. She participated in three games of the varsity league during her time at school. Ogunbowale steered her school to stunning victories with her exceptional skill multiple times. In her senior year, she has compiled 1,477 points and 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale competed in her first 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship and was awarded Gold medals at both. In July of 2014 Ogunbowale was chosen as a part of the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale also has been named on the ACC All-Freshman Team after her first year of collegiate play. Kobe Bryant congratulated her after shooting a number of big shots in the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale, even though she is somewhat new to basketball, has made herself an international star. It is likely that she will keep her status in the game. According to an insider Arike Ogunbowale's net worth has been estimated to be around $5 million. Ogunbowale isn't just an excellent basketballer. She also excels in many other sports too. She's an active soccer player. She won 3 State Cup titles for Lake County United Soccer Club in addition to a State Cup victory in the FC Milwaukee Soccer Club. Additionally, she has played the piano for nearly seven years.
