Arike Ogunbowale

Arike was an American basketball player. She is a member of the Dallas Wings, a team within the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a college basketball player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, before being drafted by the Wings with the fifth overall selection of the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was born on the 2nd March, 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26 years old) and Dare Ogunbowale (19 years) are her two older brothers. Hers was the youngest of children in her family and her parents spoilt her the best. Gregory was her father. In July of 2014 Ogunbowale was chosen as a part of the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale also has been named on the ACC All-Freshman Team after her first year of collegiate play. Kobe Bryant congratulated her after shooting a number of big shots in the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale, even though she is somewhat new to basketball, has made herself an international star.
